With rising housing costs and changes in work styles, many families are seeking to include a self-contained area within their home, known as a Home & Income. These properties have a minor dwelling sitting under one roof line, which can be rented out, used as a home office, or as a space for additional family members. While these properties require a specific type of council consent, they offer flexibility in home use and are also suitable for Commercial Residential builds.

STEP 1
Initial Meeting & Scoping
The first step is to get in touch with your local Generation Homes team to begin the process.

Agreement & Contract
Following the initial consultation, our team will collaborate with you and our architects to develop a customised plan that meets your unique residential or commercial building requirements.
Our objective is to surpass your expectations by delivering a distinctive and practical design that aligns with your building needs.
STEP 3
Project Activation
*Please note that in some cases, this step may not be necessary.
Once all the necessary details have been finalised and approved, we will proceed with the building contract and submit the building consent application.
We will then provide you with a well-defined production building methodology and timeline for the construction process.
STEP 4
Project Updates & Completion
After all details have been finalised and signed-off, site works and construction will commence and we will keep you informed on progress throughout the entire project through to completion.
